Matt Boucher, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, smiling

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people connect with what is important to them. I’m based in Pittsburgh and see clients via telehealth throughout Pennsylvania. Therapy can be transformative for some or may just smooth out some rough edges for others. I welcome all adults of all backgrounds and beliefs across the lifespan.

My therapy perspective is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT focuses on helping you respond to life’s challenges with purposeful, grounded actions. We can’t always control how we feel but we can control how we respond to those feelings.

Patients often report feeling more in control of life through their work with me.

Let’s work together to make things better for you!

Your story, your goals, your health

Dipping your toe into therapy isn’t always easy. A new therapist, a new relationship. My focus is on listening to you, first and foremost, and developing a plan with you. I will never bring my own agenda into treatment. This is about your story, your goals, and your health.
